On today in 2005, comedian Richard Pryor died in Encino, California. He suffered from a heart attack. Pryor was 65 years old and his wife was quoted as saying, “At the end, there was a smile on his face.” He was a stand-up comedian, actor, social critic, writer, and MC. Pryor is also considered the most influential comedian of all time.
