Today in Black History: April 1, 1984 “The Death of Marvin Gaye”

On today in 1984, Marvin Gaye was murdered. His father shot him after they got into an argument. The first shot entered into the right side of Marvin’s chest, hit his right lung, heart, diaphragm, liver, stomach, and left kidney. The second shot was shot in close range. Gaye arrived at California Hospital Medical Center at 1:01p.m. and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
