Today in Black History: March 16, 1956 “The Birth of Ozzie Newsome”

On today in 1956, Ozzie Newsome was born in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He is a NFL Hall of Famer, and the current general manager for the Baltimore Ravens. Newsome played tight end for the Cleveland Browns. He played in the NFL for 13 years and never missed a game. Newsome ended his career with 662 receptions, 7,780 yards, and 47 touchdowns.
