Today in Black History: February 14, 1965 “Malcolm X House was Firebombed”

On today in 1965, unidentified attackers firebombed Malcolm X’s house, in New York. Him and his family were asleep inside. Although Malcolm X was tired and worried, he delivered a speech in Detroit the same night of the firebombing incident. This was one of his last speeches before his death. Malcolm X was assassinated on February 21, 1965, a week after his house was firebombed.
