Today in Black History: January 25, 1994 “Whitney Houston Debut Album was Certified Diamond”

On today in 1994, Whitney Houston’s debut album, “Whitney Houston” was certified 10x platinum. The album had sold 10 million copies. The album was first released on February 14, 1985. The album toped the Billboard 200 chart for 14 weeks and had three number one singles, “Saving All My Love for You,” “How Will I Know,” and “Greatest Love of All.”
