Today in Black History: January 5, 1911 “Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity was Founded”

On today in 1911, Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity was founded. Ten African American students at Indiana University helped form the fraternity. Kappa Alpha Psi has never denied membership based on color, religion, or national origin. There are over 150,000 members and alumni chapters in every state of the United States. Some famous Kappa Alpha Psi’s are Arthur Ash, Byron Cage, and Colin Kaepernick.
