On December 3, 1994, R&B singing group Boyz II Men topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their soulful ballad “On Bended Knee.” Boyz II Men’s “On Bended Knee,” was the second single from their second album II. “On Bended Knee” went on to replace their “I’ll Make Love To You” at the top of the Billboard’s Hot 100. Boyz II Men became the third musical act to ever replace themselves at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, previously accomplished by The Beatles and Elvis Presley.
