On today in 1995, Mariah Carey’s single “One Sweet Day” begins its run as the longest running #1 song ever on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The song was off of her “Daydream” album and featured Boyz II Men. “One Sweet Day” was #1 on the charts for 16 consecutive weeks.
