Today in Black History: November 22, 1991 “Michael Jackson Release Dangerous Album”

On today in 1991, Epic Records released Michael Jackson’s album, “Dangerous.” This was Jackson’s second album to go number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. “Dangerous” was the first under his new contract with Sony. It was also his first album not produced by Quincy Jones. The album was fused with R&B, rock, pop, and new jack swing tracks. “Dangerous” had eventually sold 35 million records world wide.
