Today in Black History: October 8, 1941 “The Birth of Jesse Jackson”

Jesse Jackson was born on, October 8, 1941, in Greenville, South Carolina. Jackson is most known for being a minister and a civil rights activist. He also ran for President of the United States of America in 1984 and 1988. Mr. Jackson also served as a shadow U.S Senator from 1991 to 1997. He also is the President and founder of Rainbow Push Coalition.
