Today in Black History: July 31, 1981 “Arnette R. Hubbard The 1st Woman President Of The National Bar Association (NBA)


Today, in 1981 Attorney Arnette R. Hubbard was installed as the first woman president of the National Bar Association (NBA). The NBA is the largest and oldest organization of judges and attorneys of color. The NBA was founded in Des Moines, Iowa, by twelve african american lawyers.
